A procedure for adding a new computer in ePolicy Orchestrator 4.0.
A computer who has just been added in Active Directory will not be found in ePo. Force Active Directory Synchronization.
Automation > Active Directory Synchronization > Run
Search the system in the main page, by entering it’s name in the Quick System Search .
Move the system to the correct location – Move Systems .
Click on Deploy Agents to start the deployment.
Return to the system page and click More Actions > Wake Up Agents
For watching the progress:
More Actions > Show Agent Log will open the McAfee Agent Activity Log .
You can also type http://systemname:8081/ to do open the log.
